Roles & Responsibilities- As QA engineer you will be part of the team that develops and maintains the fleet management and location based mobile applications for a US based MNC using GPS and wireless technologies. You will be responsible for quality assurance of a SAS based fleet management system which uses wireless and GPS technologies to provide a comprehensive tracking, navigation, and business process services for commercial vehicles and mobile resources.
- Hands on quality assurance for all software components of the service
- Develop, manage, and execute test strategy, test plans, and test cases
- Load/stress performance (both manual and automated) testing for software products and systems.
- Responsible for setting up QA environment for testing
Experience Required- 2+ years of software quality assurance experience
- Experience in defining high quality test plans
- Solid understanding of SQL/relational database concepts, and client-server concepts.
- Hands on experience with SQL database and T-SQL queries
- Experience with open source QA automation tools is a plus
- Experience in setting up QA environment which includes web servers, databases, windows servers is required
- Experience with Visio, UML, HTML, XML, web services, networking is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education- BE/BTech/MCA/MCS/MSc or Equivalent
