Opening for Network Administrator at Synechron Pune

Job Role:

    * Multilayer switching, internal routing, HA protocols (HSRP and others), OSPF, RIP, and STP.Routing protocols (BGP, IGRP, EIGRP, eiBGP, MPLS, OSPF).
    * Point to Point protocols (PPP) and VoIP.
    * Load Balancing (L-4 thru L-7, SSL, Methods, GSLB).
    * Should have thorough understanding of IP subnetting, VLANs, Load Balancing, and HA architectures. Good Knowledge of network security concepts and technologies, including but not limited to Cisco PIX, NetScreen ISGs, and Checkpoint firewalls.
    * Ability to use MS Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Project.
    * Proven ability to plan and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced team environment. Thorough understanding of IP subnetting, VLANs,VPNs,Surf Control, Load Balancing, NW sniffers, Ethereal and HA architectures.
    * Knowledge of network security concepts and technologies, including but not limited to Cisco PIX, NetScreen ISGs, and Checkpoint firewalls etc.

Skills Required:

    * 6-10 yrs + years of experience in Switching, CCIE, RNS
    * Should be certified in Cisco CCNP (mandatory), CCDP, CCIE and CISSP.
    * Must have sound experience in Enterprise multi-location network, Design and Architecture. High-end L3 switches and Router configuration and maintenance.
    * Extensive experience utilizing network sniffers (Experience with Ethereal would be an added advantage).
    * Sound knowledge of Foundry, Cisco, and Juniper equipment.
    * Sound knowledge of Foundry OS, JunOS, and Cisco IOS.-
    * Should have knowledge of network operation policies and procedures.
    * Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
    * Should have the ability and experience to coordinate with the client & technical teams.
    * Should be willing to work in night shifts.
